- Meet Henry at Walden Pond! Brent interacts with the public as Henry David Thoreau at Walden Pond on several occasions throughout the year. Anticipated dates (subject to change) include New Years Day, July 12 (Henry's birthday), and a melon party in late summer. For up to date information on upcoming engagements at Walden Pond, see the "programs" posting at the Walden Pond State Reservation website. In 2026, the melon party will be noon-2 on Saturday, August 29.
- Brent performed for the public as Henry David Thoreau in an informal staging of scenes from J. Lawrence and R.E. Lee's 1969 play "The Night Thoreau Spent in Jail" on January 19, 2026, at the Visitor Center at Walden Pond State Reservation.
